Henry's Story
Imagine a child sitting on the side of the road alone, looking around for his mother, waiting for her to come back and hold him, waiting for her to feed him. Hours pass. His mother does not return. Finally, a stranger scoops him up and takes him to the authorities.
This is Henry’s story. Henry was the baby abandoned on the side of the road and, after several hours, a stranger took him to the authorities. The next day, we received a phone call at the Village of Eden asking for help. Henry was malnourished and needed a home. The next day he came to live at the Village of Eden. At just a year old, Henry had no teeth and was too weak to crawl. Within a short time, Henry learned to crawl, stand, and even walk. He became boisterous and loved to laugh and shout.
Now, Henry is thriving. He loves to play with his friends and learn at school. One day, we will tell Henry the story of how God saved him and brought him to be part of the Village of Eden family. He will grow up knowing that God loves him and has a plan for his life.
