It has been amazing to see what the Lord has done in my life, and also what He has been doing through Moyo over the past two years!
This third year of serving at Moyo is going to be another exciting year of ministry as we look ahead to what the Lord is going to do! I have already been on one mission trip, taking 18 people to Brazil to serve with the ministry we partner with, Vinde Meninos. 14 of them were high schoolers who gave up their spring break to serve the Lord. We took a week to go and do ministry at two of our Vinde Meninos locations, where we ministered to children through a daily Bible study, games, activities, and simply spending time
with them. The week went very well, and we were able to accomplish a lot of ministry while we were there. I really enjoy taking teenagers to serve on mission, especially during spring break, because not only do we get to make a difference, but it also opens their eyes to what the Lord is doing all around the world. I think that it helps them see the Great Commission differently.
I also enjoy taking them on a spring break mission trip because that is how the Lord gave me a love for international missions back when I was in high school.

While on this trip, I was able to travel about three hours away to a town called Botucatu. This town is home to the newest Vinde Meninos ministry location. I was able to go see the property where the ministry takes place, meet the missionaries who run the day-to-day, and meet the children who attend the after-school program. I was excited to see ministry taking place here because it is a sign of growth and a sign that the Lord is continuing to work through Vinde Meninos.

This year, I will also be traveling to Uganda. In August, I will be taking a team of eight people to Uganda to serve at our student camp. I have never been part of a student camp in Uganda, but it is something that I have looked forward to attending. Please be in prayer for this trip as each team member prepares to give up almost two weeks to be a part of what the Lord is doing through Moyo and the Village of Eden in Uganda.
